PEGGY C. BURGESS Founder and President Peggy Burgess has been involved in the leasing, management and development of commercial, income producing real estate since 1981. Ms. Burgess's formal education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University and graduate studies in finance and marketing. During her attendance at Arizona State University, Ms. Burgess began working for The Arizona Bank. In 1975, Ms. Burgess left The Arizona Bank to pursue a lending career specifically in real estate. She joined Greater Arizona Savings and Loan and was responsible for the approval of both residential and commercial loans. In 1978 she moved to First National Bank of Arizona (now Wells Fargo Bank) as a commercial loan officer. In 1981, Ms. Burgess left banking and became the Corporate Controller for Murdock Management Company. In that position Ms. Burgess was responsible for all financial aspects of the corporation as well as the entire portfolio of fee management business. The portfolio totaled two million square feet and included the eighteen story First Interstate Tower located on Central Avenue north of Osborn Road. During that tenure, Ms. Burgess was involved in the sale of the First Interstate Building to Trammell Crow Partners. Mr. Pederson later changed the name to Pederson Realty Group and actively pursued development work. In November, 1986 Ms. Burgess formed Arcadia Management Group to concentrate its efforts on property management. The philosophy of Arcadia Management Group is to provide the highest quality fee management available in the marketplace. The portfolio includes institutional as well as individual investors who understand the need for very specialized management of their assets. Included in the portfolio are retail, office and industrial projects. Currently, the portfolio totals over five million square feet. During the past ten years, Ms. Burgess has acted in the capacity of receiver for several properties, protecting the interests of lenders, ranging from individuals to banks and life insurance companies. Ms. Burgess is active in NNCREW, the National Network of Commercial Real Estate Women as well as civic organizations. GARY L. SHAW, JR. Vice President - Designated Broker AZ, NV, CA Gary Shaw has been involved in the leasing, management and development of commercial, income-producing real estate since 1998. His formal education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Programs from Arizona State University. In addition, he is a licensed real estate broker in the states of Arizona, California and Nevada. Gary began his career in the booming Arizona golf industry and also became a sales representative for Hewlett Packard. Finally, his passion for real estate brought him to commercial property management with Arcadia Management Group, Inc. Gary currently serves Arcadia Management Group, Inc. as Vice President and Designated Broker. He acts in the capacity of Director of Property Management Services and consults for several development companies. His expertise in Yardi accounting for property management has greatly enhanced our client's financial reporting. Gary is a member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and Urban Land Institute (ULI). Gary resides with his wife and children in Phoenix, Arizona. KIM L. KELLY Kim Kelly has been involved in fee management of homeowner associations, commercial and retail properties since 1987. Mr. Kelly's formal education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Real Estate was Mr. Kelly's major in college and he holds a Certificate in Real Estate and Land Use Economics. After graduation, Mr. Kelly worked as a sales associate with Eagle Real Estate Company and later with the N.P. Dodge Company, both located in Omaha, Nebraska. Mr. Kelly listed and sold residential properties with each company, gaining valuable experience working with buyers and sellers with varying backgrounds and income levels. During 1987, Mr. Kelly went to work for the Byron Reed Company, Omaha, Nebraska, as a property manager. He was responsible for the management of homeowner associations, commercial and retail properties. During 1989, Mr. Kelly moved to Arizona and joined Arcadia Management Group as a property manager. He currently manages office, retail and industrial properties. Mr. Kelly has a State of Arizona Broker License and resides in Mesa.
